'A Thousand Songs Ago' . . .
"In the flick of a page of the Radio Times I'm back in those hair-brained days of 1979, I was that busker with a smile on his face, feet in the gutter, dreams so high up in space"
So begins my song encapsulating my experience as a free-lance singer and songwriter, walking the "thin line between dignity and destitution" from 1970 to the present day.
As you may well imagine it's been no cakewalk or bed of roses. I dedicate the contents of this website, therefore, to the legions of others who set out with me to express a thought or emotion in words and music, creating whole albums of "emotional photographs" along the way immortalising the tragedies and triumphs of a life of blind hope and crazy dreams.
